123.4 proof. Very Small Batch 1-CFB. Old Carter — the Very Small Batch tier of the Old Carter program, presenting a higher-proof, more limited-quantity expression than the standard KY-series batches under the CFB (Carter Family Bourbon) designation.
The Very Small Batch format signals a more curated selection than the standard batch program — fewer barrels, tighter selection criteria, and the CFB designation identifying this as a Carter Family Bourbon expression carrying the family’s personal imprimatur. At 123.4 proof, 1-CFB is higher than Batch 4-KY and Batch 1 (108.9), positioning the Very Small Batch as the proof apex of the standard Old Carter bourbon lineup currently in stock.
