A pleasantly dry, musty nose calls to mind flipping through the pages of an old book, but it’s livened up by plenty of citrus —namely orange peel and orange-cranberry muffin, maple candies, cinnamon spice oatmeal, and applesauce. Cinnamon takes precedence on the palate, joined by dark chocolate, maple syrup, and a hint of earthiness. The mid-length finish is chock-full of baking chocolate and baking spice, making for an enjoyable experience. – Julia Higgins
