When we received this most recent shipment I took one home for a testdrink, and it did not disappoint. Flavors of cherry compote and blackplum blend nicely with spice notes and a touch of oaky earth on thefinish. I let the bottle breathe for about 30 minutes and the fruitbecame brighter, joined by aromas of fennel that I’d missed on thefirst taste. Mushroom and sausage pie from our friends at Prime Pizzapaired splendidly, without being spendy!
