Verdicchio is an old Italian variety that has a long history in the Marche region dating back to at least the 14th century, and has been quite a popular white grape there since the 1980’s.This is a wonderfully bright and crisp expression from Beechworth, crafted by the talented hands of Adrian Rodda. Boasting a natural acidity and a great structure, you’ll find a lot of pleasure in this beautiful dry white. If all that wasn’t enough, it’s great value too!
“No problem with ripeness here. Equally no problem in cuddling up to this warm, friendly verdicchio…. It’s ripe and easy to get to know and love, and the temptation would be to enjoy sooner rather than later.”– Jeni Port (Halliday Wine Companion)
