2012 Caparzo Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and dark red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of dark cherries intermixed with leather followed by some spicy earth notes. Light to medium weight palate with ripe joosy dark cherry flavours to the fore followed by some dark plum, spice and earth. Soft fine grained tannins with aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, spice and earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
