2008 Achaval Ferrer Quimera 750ml

The 2008 Achaval Ferrer Quimera is a masterful Argentine blend that perfectly showcases the rich terroir of Mendoza. This vintage features a deep, inky purple hue and a complex bouquet of blackberries, dark cherries, and plums, complemented by notes of violets, leather, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegantly structured, with firm yet refined tannins and balanced acidity. The blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc reveals layers of dark fruit, cocoa, and a touch of tobacco, all beautifully integrated. The finish is long and expressive, with lingering flavors of black pepper, espresso, and a hint of minerality. Ideal for pairing with grilled meats or rich, savory dishes, this Quimera is a sophisticated and age-worthy wine that captures the essence of Argentine winemaking.Size: 750mlVarietal:Bordeaux Blend RedRegion: MendozaVintage: 2008
