2003 Petaluma Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with pale straw hue.Sophisticated nose of fig, melon, hazelnut and cashew.There is a touch of toasted oak on the palate, followed by spice and yeast lees.This is a leaner wine than the 2002 with a mineral nuance over a nectarine background.Moderate palate length.Aftertaste of fig, nectarine and toast.
