2002 King River Estate Merlot

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue.The nose is appealing with notes of liquorice, spice, stewed fruit and vanilla emerging.The palate is impressive, it has good weight – a delightful range of flavours emerge.Mulberries and spice followed by nuances of liquorice allsorts and confectionary.Fine grained tannins followed by a long aftertaste.
