1993 Riddoch Run Shiraz

We’ve tasted this wine a couple of times – firstly as a barrelsample and subsequently upon release. The wine was outstandingon both occasions and certainly confirms our belief that the1993 Riddoch Runs are worthy of a decade at least in the cellar. The colour extraction is fantastic – opaque, crimson red. Thenose is concentrated black peppers – inky very aromatic and aperfect extension into the palate. Enormous fruit – ripeblackberries, spice and blackpeppers. This is Coonawarra Shirazas it should always be. Firm but balanced tannin structure.Outstanding value for money.Z
